چکیده
The following lectures are an introduction to the phenomena of partonic saturation and nonlinear evolution equations in Quantum Chromodynamics. After a short introduction to the linear evolution, the problems of unitarity bound and parton saturation are discussed. The nonlinear Balitsky-Kovchegov evolution equation in the high energy limit is introduced, and the progress towards the understanding of the properties of its solution is reviewed. We discuss the concepts of the saturation scale, geometrical scaling and the lack of the infrared diffusion. Finally, we give a brief summary of current theoretical developments which extend beyond the Balitsky-Kovchegov equation.

Limiting fragmentation in hadron-hadron collisions at high energies
Limiting fragmentation in proton-proton, deuteron-nucleus and nucleusnucleus collisions is analyzed in the framework of the Balitsky-Kovchegov equation in high energy QCD. Good agreement with experimental data is obtained for a wide range of energies. Further detailed tests of limiting fragmentation at RHIC and the LHC will provide insight into the evolution equations for high energy QCD.
متن کاملIntegrability of twist-three evolution equations in QCD
We describe a recent progress in finding solutions to three-particle evolution equations at leading order in the QCD coupling constant for multiparton correlation functions based on the integrability of corresponding interaction Hamiltonians. متن کاملMarkovian Monte Carlo solutions of the NLO QCD evolution equations
We present precision Monte Carlo calculations solving the QCD evolution equations up to the next-to-leading-order (NLO) level. They employ forward Markovian Monte Carlo (FMC) algorithms, which provide the rigorous solutions of the QCD evolution equations. Appropriate Monte Carlo algorithms are described in detail. They are implemented in the form of the Monte Carlo program EvolFMC, which featur...
متن کاملHierarchically Organized Iterative Solutions of the Evolution Equations in QCD
The task of Monte Carlo simulation of the evolution of the parton distributions in QCD and of constructing new parton shower Monte Carlo algorithms requires new way of organizing solutions of the QCD evolution equations, in which quark−gluon transitions on one hand and quark−quark or gluon−gluon transitions (pure gluonstrahlung) on the other hand, are treated separately and differently. This re...
متن کاملEvolution of twist - 3 fragmentation functions in multicolour QCD and the Gribov - Lipatov reciprocity
It is shown that twist-3 fragmentation functions in the large-N c limit of QCD obey the DGLAP evolution equations. The anomalous dimensions are found explicitly. The Gribov-Lipatov reciprocity is violated at the twist-3 level in the leading logarithmic approximation.
